It's the Little Things
This is just a page for me to take time to remember the "little things" that God gives me. Like an afternoon nap, or sitting in the one seat in the house that the sun is shining on, or flipping my pillow over to the cold side for that short moment of "ahhhh".

Admiration through the eyes of a child
This evening, after dinner, my Hubby was heading outside to get some work done on our cars. Before he could reach the door our 3 yr old daughter said "Daddy, will you play hide-n-seek with me?" Of course, the answer had to be yes! Who could say No to that little sweet face? So after a few rounds of hide-n-seek, lots of laughs, and several hugs, she came to me and said "You are the best Mommy and Daddy ever!!" Awwww! Talk about melting my heart! What sweet girl. It was one of those little moments when you realize that they are worth it. All the work, all the money, all the time, all the sleepless nights or grumpy days, they are worth every second of exhaustion or frustration. That one little moment when you see how pure, innocent, and strong their love for you is, that is when you forget everything else. I love being a stay at home. I love every moment with my daughters. Seeing them learn new things and being there for every milestone. I am so thankful that God gives me "the little things" to once again put everything into perspective.
